This exceptional Reflex\Deflex designed Osage bow is carved from a sought after stave of what is often called "Red" osage. Some Osage trees grown in soil rich areas have darker reddish streaks and a deeper color than thecommon bright yellow\ orange color. Not only does this make for a beautiful bow, but also one of the best bows you will ever shoot. The grain of Red Osage tends to be a little tighter and much more elastic and returns to its original shape after un-stringing. What you get is a tough, beautiful bow that will impress any selfbow shooter. This particular bow is 66inches long and 64# @ 28" (not to be drawn further than 28"). It has a stunning, grade A chocolate deer leather grip and the grip shape is comfortable and classic. the tips are bi-level Osage over Brazilian walnut. The belly of this bow is rounded and the limbs are mostly clear, straight and with just a tad of twist character as Osage usually has. The grain was followed perfectly in this premium stave. Its thin, hard hitting and an absolute pleasure to shoot. There is NO stain applied to this bow. Only several hand rubbed coats of polyurethane This is a top notch hunting bow. There aren't many out there better than this one! If your not in love with this bow, I will buy it back! If you have been waiting for a select osage bow, this one is definitely it!
